the food is generous and delicious. The ambiance is relax and not too loud. it is a pop and daughter restaurant. les portions sont genereuses et goûteuses. un super restaurant à prix modiques pour les portions qu'ils vous servent.

Love the food in this cozy restaurant. It's always fresh and consistent in flavor and quality. Easy to find parking and moderate prices that are totally worthy. My husband loves the chicken Chasseur and i love the chicken Marsala.

They had the mind to keep the French onions cheese and bread ring separate so you could slide this cute cheese top on top of the bowl in your microwave at home. Designed for take out the French onion soup: genius melts over the rim and because some bread was kept separate and not soggy. You had the option for crispy fluffy bread and the bread already included in the soup. Sorry I'm so impressed I cannot make sense here but it was amazing. And I loved it

So I'm going to be generous and give this restaurant four stars instead of three. Primarily this is due to the father and daughter operation of the restaurant. I admire their moxie and hard work. Overall the ambience of the restaurant is quite cute and unique. It's a combination flower shop and restaurant. So the issue for me with a restaurant is the food quality while good, the amount of protein could be more. The chicken dishes are quite expensive at $20 each. The amount of actual chicken is not as great as expected. Also I wouldn't recommend getting the salads, totally average and their execution and taste. This might be a better option to try a brunch.

Le petit jardin is the epitome of a hole in the wall. It's a restaurant/ flower shop owned by a really sweet couple. I've been passing by here for years before finally going inside recently. Wish I did sooner. Their French onion soup is a must. Possibly my favorite in LA. I also got their signature burger which wasn't bad, but a little on the salty side. My wife really enjoyed her omelette. They also put together beautiful flower arrangements for very fair prices. This is my new go-to florist.

I always used to pass by this place on Robertson, thinking it was just a flower shop. Then, one winter day, I was looking up the places (on Yelp) to find good French onion soup and Le Petit Jardin came up! The location serves as both a charming French cafe and a flower shop, which is just so cool. I did quench my French onion soup craving and their soup really hit the spot. For my entree, I ordered their veggie burger, the Garden Burger, and I loved it. Really great meal in a lovely space. The servers were wonderful too!
